Area Description

Cefalù is a wonderful little town famous all over the world for its natural and historical beauties,it was first mentioned by Diodoro Siculo on 396 b.C., but this town is remarkable for its typical medieval trace.

From piazza Garibaldi, going on Ruggero corso until the marvellous Duomo square you will feel the untached athmosphere of this Mediterranean pearl.
Standing on a rocky promontoriuy overllooking the town, it preserved the ancient look, just around the cathedral built by Ruggero II order.
On it narrow central medieval streets, you can see several places, precious
for their architectonic. Decorations and many important churches.
The fishing village is particularly fascinating,withits old houses facing
on the sea, a long fine sandy beach,considered as one of the most beautiful
along the north coast.
Here in Cefalù you can find everything you need for a nice holiday: banks,
postoffice, hospital, chemist,shops, rentcar, supermarket, restaurants.
